Jumpstart’s Scribbles to Novels is a unique fundraising event that celebrates the power of the written word. Across the country, Jumpstart unites prominent authors, celebrities, and leaders in early childhood education to underscore the importance of literature in children’s lives and to reinforce their critical mission: Working towards the day every child in America enters kindergarten prepared to succeed. At Rizk Ventures, we clearly understand this mission.
Education has been at the core of our philanthropic work for over 20 years, and it is the fundamental concept that drives our business philosophy. Our strategic alliance with Classroom24-7, an online education technology and services company that pinpoints ways in which online education can be utilized to unlock significant value in our portfolio of investments, illustrates this core principle. We have supported Jumpstart for the last five years because they dismantle barriers to education and create significant value in our communities through programs like Scribbles to Novels.
During this truly spectacular event, over $1 million was raised to bring countless children and families the resources they so desperately need and deserve.
